experience

Ian Drummond gained experience with several well-known consultants including Ove Arup, Alan Baxter & Associates and Pell Frischmann & Partners. This gave insight into large scale engineering projects, as well as the smaller scale, delicate operations of altering and repairing frail historic buildings. He was the resident engineer during the construction of the Edgware bus terminus, the roof of which won an award for steelwork fabrication. He became a Chartered Structural Engineer in 1984 and became a Fellow of the Institute of Structural Engineers in 2021.
